A journey to our Berlin. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

We could be wishing you lots of strength and health in these hard times and look forward to all the things we miss so badly. But to be honest, that's what we are thinking anyway and it's not really pleasant anymore to keep being reminded on the current situation. Instead we would like to take you on a journey, a journey to our Berlin.

Following Max Planck thoughts:
„If you change your way to look at things, the things you look at will change.“

As almost every journey, our journey starts at the airport.
Thinking of the BER, you are probably grinning already or your blood pressure is starting to rise... costs of 7.1 billion Euro and 14 years of construction time.

"BER´s most important attraction? Us...!" (Staff at BER)

Might the BER end up like Tempelhof Airport one day? There the last plane took off on October 30th 2008.

Today the airfield serves as a platform for sporty hobbies, walks and letting some fresh air into your lungs. Even one of the largest circuses for kids and teens, Cabuwazi has settled here.

We now leave Tempelhof behind to visit one of our friends, MAMPE distillery at Tempelhofer Berg.

In 1831 Consultant Carl Mampe Sr. brewed bitters to fight Cholera in those days. Today, Tom and his team also brew ORAMPE exclusively for Orania.Berlin. However, MAMPE is most popular for their "Halb&Halb", a mixture of bitters and herb liqueur.

Since the onset of winter, Berlin has been in snow fever. Everywhere you can see funny designed snowmen and women and the whole city is into winter sports.

On our way to Orania.Berlin we pass the gallery "König". You can currently see "Big Mutter", a work by Erwin Wurm. In summer the huge hot-water bottle could be admired in front of Vienna's St. Stephens Cathedral. The gallery program currently also includes various digital exhibitions that can be experienced with the "KÖNIG GALERIE" APP.

Back in the analogue world, we have already arrived at the snow-covered Oranienplatz. In such wintry splendor we haven't seen the Orania.Berlin either.
